The Cornerstone Group of Wells Fargo Advisors Angel Funds

We are proud to have established two separate Angel Funds to assist those in need in our community.

In 2011 we established The Cornerstone Group of Wells Fargo Advisors Angel Fund at the YWCA.  This fund was designed to assist young women in the community that were trying to better themselves but that did not qualify for public assistance in the area of need.  For example one young woman was enrolled at MCC but didn't have the bus money to get back and forth to classes.  We firmly believe that helping people in this way betters our entire community.

In 2013 we established The Cornerstone Group of Wells Fargo Advisors Angel Fund with CURE Childhood Cancer Association.  This fund has been established to provide emergency financial assistance to families whose child is undergoing treatment for cancer or blood disorders. Assistance can be used for utility bills, food costs, medical co-payments and other financial challenges. These families are going through a terrible ordeal, and oftentimes parents lose their jobs due to the time commitment they make to their ill child.  We are very fortunate to be able to help these families.
