Private Investment Management

The Cornerstone Group is among a select group of the firm’s Financial Advisors entrusted to manage client portfolios with discretionary authority through the Private Investment Management program. Private Investment Management (PIM) is a customized, fee-based portfolio-management program for investors who demand a high level of experience and personalized service. As portfolio managers, we take our responsibility very seriously and endeavor to manage our clients’ money as if it were our own. In this process, we employ a GARP (growth at a reasonable price) style, and select equities utilizing both our quantitative model and our decades of experience, so you always know we are making the most informed, sound recommendations in every financial step.

As a PIM client, you will meet with our team to establish your investment objectives, risk tolerance and guidelines for the management of your portfolio. We then construct a customized portfolio designed specifically for you. Having completed the initial investment process, we will mutually agree upon a schedule for future meetings, at which we will evaluate the performance of your portfolio relative to your previously established goals and benchmarks. While we believe comparing portfolio performance to relevant indices is an important exercise, our highest priority will always rest with ensuring we are on track to help you realize your personal financial goals.

Fees for the PIM program include Advisory services, performance measurement, transaction costs, custody services and trading. They do not cover the ongoing fees and expenses of certain investments held in the account and customary brokerage charges may apply to non-program assets. Fees are based on the assets in the account and are assessed quarterly. There is a minimum fee of $250 per calendar quarter to maintain this type of account. Advisory accounts are not designed for excessively traded or inactive accounts, and may not be suitable for all investors. During periods of lower trading activity, your costs might be lower if our compensation was based on commissions. Please carefully review the Wells Fargo Advisors advisory disclosure document for a full description of our services, including fees and expenses. The minimum account size for this program is $50,000.
